Thank you so much for doing what you did! The Lord does wonderful and beautiful things when His children obey! I was adopted 12 yrs ago, and have a big heart for adoption. Lord willing I will adopt one day! 🙂

What a great website. Thank You for sharing this with me. I meet you at the district the other day. My daughter was playing by the fountain and I was eating my lunch. Hi Todd and Kim,
We are so glad that the Lord caused our paths to cross in China. We wish you well and will continue to lift your family up in our prayers.
I was in tears this morning when I finally got around to reading your story to Hope!! I told Rusty, Kim and Todd need to write a book to which he responded maybe Hope is the one who is going to write the story. Praise God I beleive she will.

As someone from the UK, it’s a real pleasure to have been introduced to the family via the American Nystagmus Network group. I look forward to following the ‘ups and downs’ of the journey from now on. This has to be one of the best bits of becoming part of the ‘international net’ world.
Not only do I share one of Hope’s eye conditions, I also share the Christian faith and I pray this will sustain you and the extended family over the next few weeks and months, especially when dealing with the ‘inscrutable’ whims of dealing with the Chinese bureaucracy for whom the phrase ‘red tape’ must have been coined.

Thank you so much for posting your story so far! I saw your post on the fundraising for adoptions listserv and came to read your story right away, mostly because I always have a special heart for visually impaired children (I don’t know why exactly, but it has been this way for some time).
I am so excited to see how God has been guiding you in this process. He must have great things in store for your Hope to guide you to her in this way!
Have you applied for any of the grants available for adoption, especially those from Christian agencies? I hear nothing but wonderful things about Shaohannah’s Hope in particular. They are doing great work.
I will be praying for you and for Hope, that you will be united very soon, sooner than you have even dared to hope.
