dig a hole

December 1st, 2008

Hannah and I stole a moment from life the other day to dig a hole at the beach. We were in deep make believe land the whole time as we were busy rescuing our pigs named Percy and Pink (a long story), and singing our own corresponding song to the tune of (you guessed it) Octopus’s Garden.. :-D

The video is about 45 minutes of time lapse at 1fps then random frames deleted and then the whole thing sped up to fit 90 seconds…

But the dinner is not for sale! Oh, and I already purchased the lamb. Sorry… :-)

Hannah’s bday party on Saturday was a hit… Here is the photo album (107 photos), or view it as a slideshow.

And here is a photo album (41 photos) from our family trip to the park yesterday where Hope played in the sand for the first time ever. It was neat because we took her to the beach one time before and even when we got to the park, we couldn’t get her to engage the sand. She wouldn’t even let her feet touch it. But then after a while Abigail stepped in and after some time playing with her, just plopped her down in the sand and then she was good to go… After that of course she was mad if we took her out of the sand! ;-) Click here to view this photo album as a slideshow instead.

Happy 4th Bday Hannah!

We love you and hope you feel better! (She has a cold)

Hannah's first day at preschool

February 12th, 2008

Part 1 - During Class
Kim said Hannah was so excited that she was shaking

Part 2 - Enthusiastic Reminiscence…
the two videos below are washed out because they
were recorded too dark so I had to brighten them later

Part 2 - Reminiscence continued…
this clip is my personal favorite of the three, and
at the end captures Hannah saying one of her famous Hannisms…

hannah the hipster

November 16th, 2007

when i happened to catch hannah hanging out on the stairs playing a drum last night, i had a full on 70’s flashback. by the time i located the camera, it took a great deal of persuasive efforts to get her to pose for me, but it was worth it. i think she could get a job on ‘that 70’s show’ for sure. i think they might hire her hippo too.

Hannah is officially the peanut of the family. The kids went for their annual checkups yesterday, and Jonathan was in the 94th percentile for his age in height and weight. Abigail was in the 78th percentile for her age in height and weight. Hannah was in the 6th percentile for her age in height and in the 18th percentile for weight…
