Quick four shot stitch of Echo Park, Los Angeles (link in comments)

Would have loved to tool around here but we were only briefly stopped to look at a vehicle for sale from Jonathan's friend that will be Abigail's first car. Then it was another 1.5 hour drive to take Jonathan back to school for his last semester of undergrad college. Traffic was so bad the whole day it was essentially eight hours of sitting on freeways minus these two short stops. Without bad traffic it probably would have only been 3 hours of driving round trip.

Many thanks for the link; fun matching your image to the map view. Surprisingly clear air. I've just had 8+ hours on the road too, but I covered over 500kms - can't imagine sitting in urban traffic for that long. And Abigail wants to drive!
