Old man Charlie still has MORE barkin' to do... And there he was again tonight at his post by the front door where he has been faithfully serving for over twelve years now. He takes his job seriously, vigorously barking at anything and everything he suspects might be on the other side of that front door, or anywhere on our block and at any time day or night for that matter.

We thought he was at the end of his line recently because of pain and rapid decline. We were on the verge of scheduling the dreaded appointment when Kim put a last ditch call out to her friends online about it. One friend who has actually watched Charlie for us before recommended this stuff called Dasuquin and even brought over a half bottle of it that night for us to try... We could tell even the very next morning that he was feeling better, and within a few days of taking a half tablet per day, it's seeming like he has many years back in the tank.

Medicine. I'm all for it. Good news all round. Sad to hear he nearly died barking, so to speak.

I'm beginning to think you have a special artificial Sun on wheels that you are able to position at will with your subjects. Another lighting classic - the tones could refer to Charlie's own twilight, but his pose reflects renewed energy.

I think of our old dog, I have had close relatives I miss less than her. They become family members for sure.

Good to hear he is doing well, sounds like a faithful companion. Long may he bark at people!
Lovely light too by the way.
