just a quick duty shot on the way home from the gym. have shot this before (in 2015) but first time with the k1. wanted to try for something more interesting but too hungry and sweaty and tired. this 'coolest tree in town' is a Moreton Bay Fig that was planted in 1875. I realize that the exposure should have been shorter for less motion blur. gambled wrongly that it wasn't going to show much... I also recognize that I didn't process this very well haha... This is close to where I've started going to the gym frequently now, so there are bound to be further exploitatins I mean explorations of this subject.

It'd be nice to tame the fringeing in the highlights but in terms of a pov that nails the grandeur of the MBF roots and trunk, this has got to be one of the best. Spectacular. I didn't realise that MBF (an Oz native) have been used so widely overseas for such a long time either.

The fisheye did quite well here with this subject, anyway it's not about the detail with this lens.
