there was a beautiful sky tonight i was wishing i could turn my camera toward but i was and am fully preoccupied with intense pain thanks to smashing my fingertip with an 80lb dumbbell at the gym, abruptly ending my workout haha. tried the hot paperclip through the nail trick to relieve the pressure but couldnt pull it off. dont know how people do that. 'they' say it doesnt hurt that the nail has no nerves but for me its burning pain right through the nail. must be doing something wrong but tried five times and no dice. wiped out from the pain, so goodnight! :)

ouch!! If there one thing I've learned about nails (I used to play a lot of cricket and the hard ball got me on hands and toe nails)...it's that they do need quick release..., but as you write, it's one thing knowing that and another stabbing something through the nail.

Holy st mate; I know the agony. Haven't heard of the paperclip treatment - a sharp sewing needle is the go! Great pic by way of comfort; nice to see them all together again.
