Awww ... Fab family shot. Great series that's typical of birding - you see them in different poses, groupings, in and out of focus, and you really have to keep them all - well I do anyway. I think this is probably the "best" - you've got the one family and the viewer can distinguish them all, and there's a suitably vague but beautifully coloured oof background that helps build the image. My next favourite is the one where they're all scampering across the road.
And to save you some homework, wiki tells me these are Gambel's Quail.
