Sorry Rod no aurora scouting tonight... Did see that a new 'negative film' filter was added in the latest GR firmware update that I applied tonight, so that filter is active on these two shots... Only thing additional to sooc was some topaz denoise and the Nik-cfx 'darken/lighten center' filter.

oh and I am happy to be alive considering Kim and I got suddenly and enthusiastically rattled at by a rattler on our neighborhood walk tonight. it got dark while we were walking and it was in bush at the edge of a sidewalk in an unlit area.. we couldn't see it but it was within a couple feet of us for sure on Kims' side of the sidewalk. She peeled some bark off me climbing me like a tree!

Superb clear detail. Like I could reach about and touch the fur.

Crikey, no missing this one. Ripper!! It seems like I could reach forward and feel her fur if I rubbed her nose on my screen. The GRiii screams quality again.
Coming back after a couple of switcheroos - you chose right for posting

As for the rattler, well done on using Kim as a shield  (it's a bit like those surfers you noted the other day lol)
