was recently gifted an old nikon coolpix 5000. it’s about 7 years old, and has a few stuck pixels, but it’s nicer and more sophisticated than my canon a510 point and shoot, 3 megapixel that has been on it’s last leg for a long time (since i accidently got it wet in hawaii in 2006). Most importantly, the nikon is a camera that requires me to learn a few things about photography, which i have been wanting to do so that i am ready to use a nice dslr whenever the time comes that i can purchase one… i took a couple shots to test the camera out and also started learning some photo editing techniques.. these shots turned out too bright but i still like them…
