Happy Mothers Day!

What a fun Mothers Day it has been here in Guangzhou. We started out having breakfast at the buffet right next to the waterfall. It was so pretty and I kept thinking aobut how in America we would never be able to have such a nice brunch on Mothers day, right next to a waterfall! After that, we walked over to my new favorite Starbucks in the world. It is built in an old building with so much charm. It has a fireplace, and outside there is a patio with lots of trees everywhere. We sat for a while and enjoyed the scenery. THere is a little school on the island, and we got bombarded with the cutest group of kids all wearing matching shirts. They all run up to tourists and say, “Hello. My name is ______. Would you like to sign my book?” So we got to sign lots of autographs and take pictures with them, which we will post soon. Then we went to a local shop and got Hope a traditional chinese dress for her picture on the famous red couch at the White Swan. Everything is so cheap. Her dress was only 3$!!!! Now we are getting our suits on and are going to try out the pool. LIfe is sweet!

We miss all you at home, and especially my mom here on Mothers Day. Happy Mothers Day Mom! I love you!!!!

Kimmy, we are so glad you had a nice Mother’s Day. I prayed that you would have good food that wasn’t China tasting. God gave you way better than that. I bet the school children really brightened your day. Did Hope like them too? I love the peaceful scenery part. That would be hard to come by here. I think we’ll go to Seal Beach park with my Mom and maybe to Ruby’s on the peir. We’re awaiting a check, soo… Life is good, Revival is spreading from Florida to North Carolina to California! Enjoy your time there, it will be over soon. And you may actually miss things there. Joy, peace, rest and great faith for you all today as you are a carrier and Ambassador of the Light of the world to China!
    Hugs to alllll, Erin

Hello ans belated Happy Mother’s Day. It takes on a whole new meaning when you adopt. After having 3 children of our own adopting 2 little China dolls completed our family. My little girls still bring tears to my eyes, they are so precious.
there is no place like te White Swan!! the service is great and it is clean. Plus anyone who puts candy on my pillow and turns down the sheets for me is #1 in my book.
Enjoy the rest of your stay. I’m sooo happy things are going well for you and Hope. I wish we could meet one day, but we’re many miles away in Ohio.
take care, and i’ll follow your website for your updates from time to time.

    Because of Him,
