Zion and I went on a grueling three hour hike today in the heat. A large part of it turned out to be through a hilly dry creek-bed with lots of rocks and wild terrain to navigate. Was already sore from the gym yesterday so was fully wiped out after. Too bad because wonderful clouds rolled in later, exactly what I've been wishing would hit on the weekend for an LE outing. Then it was a beautiful sunset too but I was just too cooked to get back out there.

What a beauty! I wonder if the blue splotch is a courting feature. Great that you're out and about again.
