boring as back yard test shot. testing with my 10-stopper (plus CPL) and blended with f8 and f11 shots... had an almost fun 4 minute LE with my 15 stopper too where the clouds looked like smoke coming out of a chimney (not the one pictured here), but managed to somehow unknowingly send the focus way off while setting up the shot and ruined it.. (It was in focus for previous shot and in MF mode and thought i was being careful about it but that's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose when fiddling with filter holders and such.)

so still don't know what causes my 10-stopper to sometimes be involved with crazy internal reflections and other times not.. with my series of tests today I had a few of the reflections turn up and many where they didn't so keep thinking it's just about direct sunlight, but the other day and other times that was definitely not the issue... will just have to keep experimenting I guess and hopefully eventually figure out how to avoid them (unwanted internal reflections). definitely tired of them ruining shots when they matter (to me). I have to also wonder if I'm paying for buying the most inexpensive 10 stopper I could find.. Hard to go buy an expensive one though and find the same problem.
