Rise of the fly huntress :)

Had some of her jumping after them too, but not worthy of posting thanks to excessive noise and off centered framing... She had the lamp knocked over at one point and stuff was getting scattered haha.. Thought about grabbing a lighting tool but figured it'd probably distract her..

Fun. Our cat enjoys chasing flies and moths. When she bats down a fly she plays with it on the floor but never eats it.

Ahh the days of cat youth.
Smokey, our cat kept the house insect free up until the last few years, now she ignores them or comes over and lets us know where it is. She could catch a fly in her paw, like the karate movies, but then play and eat it.
She is a house cat and has never been outdoors.

Excellent IQ for the circumstances; surprised you managed 1/320th even at ISO1000. First thought was - there goes the light! Didn't Daniel LaRusso practice with flies, or was that Mr Miyagi?
