Pulled out all the shots from this parade that seemed to have some bw potential but didn't get any consensus on a winner... All were bw'd and uploaded but just going with this one because I have to pick one... Would have been equally hard to decide if the theme was red today as many of these shots were strong in the reds until they were converted...

Well thank you Simon; I'm not sure that I deliver intelligent insights all that often, but I do enjoy viewing Todd's creations and the different things he tries out. I really enjoy getting an impression of other people's living spaces/lives - in this instance I'm thoroughly intrigued to see this sort of parade in suburban LA - it just doesn't gel with my (misguided) perception of this city.
Oh and as for the picture - blown away by the IQ. Really strong, engaging comp. too and the b&w's perfect.
