Got it without the extra hint, using the full size image, with head just about to poke into the flower cluster. These plants really are the bees' knees - such a huge and attractive presence, both in colour and form. I prefer this version because I can see more of the darker yellow bits. I wonder if the small size of AZ hummers is an adaptation to the lack of water with smaller bodies needing less water to survive.

Nice "spotlighting". I prefer this one over xx45 because here the spotlit frond is positioned more neatly in front of the dark oof branch.
