I don't think you'll ever get consensus on what constitutes macro. Some "experts" say they've got to be produced with a dedicated Macro lens. I reckon that's crap - if you rely on a magnification value, say 1:1, then I don't think it matters how you achieve it eg extension tubes on a 300mm lens.

Anyway, back to your picture; I like all of these and your choice sits fine by me. Lovely colours, sharpness and bokeh typical of MacTak. 4631 also pleases.

Mate you know I'm flexible, and I've certainly not adhered to macro this week, but this one sure does. I'm impressed - I've not put a Raynox on the Macro-Tak. Sweet on all counts.
