thanks all. yeah the crop was to avoid distracting objects in the frame to the left.. normally I'd have done the crop how i wanted then exported to gimp and cloned out the distracting objects, but I was in the mood to be consistently lazy... and the focus was where it was because I was trying to include some detail from the head band..

Interesting viewpoint here. I would have liked her full face to be in sharp focus versus the upper part. Great lens and wonderful shot though.
