How I wish we could have Decembers like that! Sitting in the dark freezing our butts off just isn't the same

Dappled sunlight is really hard to fix. One thing is getting the exposure equalised without making it look completely fake. Another is to preserve some contrast, and then to fix the colour temperature difference between sun and shadow. I usually give up.

Same again - it's interesting for foreigners to compare - cars and traffic signs, shop and advertising styles, clothing. The big difference in this one is the apparent abundance of Christmas decorations outside - sadly we have very little of that.
