Haha, you did indeed. A lunar halo is formed the same way though and even though it's a LE, the moon would be moving at the rate as the halo. My money's still on distortion.

If a person decorates their home, and especially the street frontage, so ornately, surely they've got to expect that others will want to photograph it. Anyway (rant over) it's a stunning finish to the month, a veritable feast of starbursts and it looks so good in b&w.
