Graphic example of arid zone erosion and mass movement; terrific pov getting up close to those big boulders. A bit of an optical illusion with that mid-frame orange pillar on the right - I find it difficult to see it as a pillar - it seems like I'm looking into a cave within the grey, fine-grained fan material. Even viewing original I struggle to shake the illusion. Old eyes I guess

You're building a fine collection of arid zone teaching images; Mavica is being especially helpful. A fascinating, smaller scale example of preferential rock weathering here. Nice how you've got Mavica low enough to have the outcrop set against the sky.
