Very good balance between the cubby and the MG creeper and both have a strong presence. I think I like this one best.

One step too far for me; starting to lose impact now imho.

Like this a lot. Foreground's super sharp (the flower's great) and the cubby has a very strong presence.

Wow! Don't think I've seen Morning Glory flowers look so dramatic. An inspiring backlit shot.

Sweet, sunshiny shot; those oranges are lapping it up. Beaut. colour.

I like "being closer" to all the houses and other features in this one, but I guess it's just a matter of camera placement wrt to subject distance that requires a bit more planning if going ultrawide.

Huge difference in width, and a huge scaling down of element sizes.

Could be shallow dof, but personally I doubt it. DOF is usually not an issue at least from what I can tell. I think the problem here is I don't know how to always get the focus I want with the wide angle mode. So far it mostly has a mind of its own. Sometimes i can poke a spot on the screen and it will focus for me. Other times nothing happens and I can't find any other option to adjust the focus in those instances. With the normal (70 degree) angle (f1.6 aperture, and glass housing instead of plastic, both firsts for phones according to what I've read) I have AF and full control and OIS when I want it. The wide angle 120 degree mode has no AF and no OIS either, which is a bit of a downer. I guess that gives something to look forward to in my next phone cam upgrade in a year or two...

this was the best i could do with the contrast... actually had it on a tiny pocket tripod. have since come up with a sturdier option but haven't revisited the IR slap on concept yet.
