Fantabulous, The gull, the look, everything. Brilliant work in all senses.

Great wide crop. And a stellar result with the Tamron. I'm very fond of my version of this lens version.

I like them all, but this one is wonderful with the camera person and silhouette, and straight into the sun/fun.

We were glad to have you Sir Simon! I was excited when I saw you pop in at the beginning of the month and you didn't let down one bit! Thanks for playing when you could. I will still be at your flickr stream daily, regardless.
I'd been thinking about acquiring a Raynox for a long time, and yes the MFD of the Tak (and all the 50's) did help rekindle the interest. I am not much of a macro shooter, but I do like having things to play around with that get me thinking and approaching things differently. It's also prep for the time of year we're heading into when options are appreciated while trying to keep up the daily shooting. We'll see though, could easily end up just being another thing mostly sitting in the drawer.

Brilliant lighting! The XPan crop is perfect for this shot. Ah, yes, do they have Christmas specials on their shots?
I'd like to echo Simon's words; thanks for photos, faves, and comments. Fun, but also demanding to keep up.

Great green light on the lady at the check-out. The snowman looks super-happy - like he's found the whisky! The whole place to himself at night, what joy.
Many thanks for all your photos, faves and comments this month...it's been fun (as I also wrote under Bill's photo).
Sadly, I'm going to have to leave the group again. Mrs Utak is still in Texas for her dad's 80th, and things mustn't get too much out of control here. So much is going on this term at school.....too many distractions to shoot and post and comment each day. I'll be going back to my pattern of shooting in batches, processing when I can, and then spreading out the photos most days.
BTW, I saw that you've ordered a Raynox M250. Guess the MFD of the Super-Tak was too far away!!
Since I've had mine, it has gone in and out of favour. Right now, it's 100% in favour - in fact I was using it (on a A 50/1.7) this morning. It works well on fast 50s I find, a good alternative to the slower MacTak or even the f2.8s. You can also use it on the MacTak for extra fun! I think you'll enjoy it.
All the best and cheers, Simon

Sweeet. One of my favourite flowers. Bonus marks for droplets.
