Grand lighting that really brings out the dewsert colours. Even close-up, there are strong structural similarities with the central Oz monoliths, albeit at quite different scales.

Those caverns look super interesting; can't help wondering if they were of any significance to Indians.

Although a much smaller landscape feature, this scene reminded me straight away of Kata Tjuta in central Australia - the "rounded" outcrop forms surrounded by an expansive apron of low gradient desret land, the bare areas looking almost as if they've just been swept. Interesting colour layering with the outcrops and plants, and nice that you almost excluded the people

A very enjoyable binge it is too! No warnings needed - a ripper set. When I first started viewing this pair (7366/7365) I was drawn more to the latter by its symmetry, but flicking between the two, I find this 7365 growing on me, to the point where it's almost on a par overall with the other. The sunburst here seems a little "forced" for my taste, but then I note and like the edge lighting on part of the stamen stems that may be an unexpected bonus from the sunburst. All great shots!

Appreciating the symmetry of this one and the more gently rendered sunburst. The touch of blue flare is a nice inclusion too. My second favourite of the red flower set.

Baboom! Why not get closer? ... more kudos to the GRIII. Am I right in discerning that the len s has rounded diaphragm blades - the bokeh balls seem nicely rounded for f11.

Enticingly bold, in-my-face close-up. Lovely focus and backlighting with a tastefully modest starburst creeping in. Stands well on its own, but i lean towards next door<<.

Sorry I'm late Todd'; you've got away from me. This a glorious set, so vibrant but not unnaturally so. This one's my fave of 7378 and 7372. I like the brightness and composition of this one very, very much. I'm liking too how much blur you're getting in the distance even at f11.

Haha, yes, and the others are more interested in you. I find it intriguing how cattle seem to be innately curious and will almost always come over quite close if you call them or talk to them. Unlike sheep who head for the hills as soon as they sense you're interested in them. Wondering if these ones are wild - can't see any ear tags, but there may be hide brandings.
