My knees scream just at the sight of this, but it's still such an inviting landscape.

Ripper!. I still score a burstie and little flare, but the scale here is awesome, both the relative relief and the crazily steep slope. I'll probably never get to explore barren slopes like this again, but I can live ther dream with shots like this.

Love the combination of sunburst and flare; the lone cactus sentinel adds spice.

Just noticed upload date - sorry I've been a bit slack on this while in Sydney.
Nice composition with the house, tree and flower bed. Interesting house design with the attic being put to "good" use!

Ahh, what did we do in airports and elsewhere before smart phones? Nice into-the-light catch.

Ripper! Fabulous nest of lines and shapes, lights and darks. Angled alignment works really well and I love the rim lighting on the hand rails.

I prefer this one: the lettering seems to be clearer/bolder and I like the way the tail fits more tightly into the corner.
On another note, the title picture for 2024 is an aerial of some bushland/forest with a dirt trail snaking through it, but I'm not aware of it appearing within an album, certainly not June through August. No biggie, just curious.

I think the USDA Forest Service should revitalise their maintenance programmes - a universal deficiency of such agencies worldwide.
Thanks for posting these, it's provided a great insight to your trip.
