Good call from Mrs todd - something different and the blue of the stirrers sits very comfortably against the creams/yellows on the left. Neutral white for the link - win. But heck, the bokeh is heaps nicer here.

Busy bokeh and the flowers seem to lose definition fairly quickly as oof takes over. Memo to self: dig this lens out and use it!

This is a lovely portrait in my book. It retains the strengths of the other image but I just eel more engaged by Hannah's eyes in this one. Really nice tones in both.

Hannah's hair highlights and the light/dark angled facial divide really appeal, but I prefer the more front-on pose of the alternate.
