A very strong look and a strong bw photo. I think the fact that its not an "ideally perfect" composition - with the branch top right and the object on the right - actually adds to the strength of the shot. PS Congrats on the lens information, it does look between there versus along the top.

The creeping, enveloping steaminess is absolutely great. Rather like a mad scientist's lab, or something in the Hogwart's kitchens. Perfect exposure and lovely light too.

And then you go and up the ante! That much more punchier being closer and with the leading leaf edges encroaching on the window light.

You really have a knack for this style of image where you're looking into the light (at varying degrees) but also featuring in the same frame, subjects that shine in their own response to the same light.
