Shot from the car through three windows; car window and two corner windows at our most local Starbucks.

The rocks rock more on the second, Flickr version, and so that's my fave. Rock beats starburst!

Both photos are exceptional and this has even bigger starbursts. Oh I've spend a lot of time at Redondo Beach - one of Mrs Utak's best friends used to live near there and we visited twice when our girls were younger, but sadly she's moved now.

Grand Avenue. Looks like an interesting street to visit, and hock some inheritances....or a K-3. I like how the lights are rendered at the back.

What is the misalignment you speak of? I'm using my 11 inch Macbook Air to review and for the life of me, nothing is standing out that needs correction. I thought at first the mass of rocks were a little distracting but the streaked cloud balances them as does the brightness and detail of the pier features. Great image that absorbed me for quite a while.

Those starbursts are fabulous as is the abstract reflections on the water. And such wonderful details too! I agree though with the need to align it correctly.

I can see why you've bw'd this. It has a lovely shimmering natural quality, but curiously to me it also has a rather man-made metallic and black oily look.

This is VERY nice indeed. The blue reflections are sublime.
