The steepness comes through fine, and what a landscape. Great that Mavica got another outing.

Ha, the comp. I like best is the "square" thumbnail, but it's "fake" - not possible to square crop from the main post. I tried 8x10 and 5x7 but to my eye good old 4x6 works best - basically chopping off part of the left distant view. Ripper combination of blues and yellows, enhanced by reflections.

Daylight's last gasp; great comp. and viewing angle.

This one for me - superb. Highlights look good (not overcooked), with magnificent diffraction spikes. Comfortable shadow detail and a composition that matches the UWA really well. Would be a great Explore candidate

Not too shabby at all, but the other version wins for me.

I've yet to be challenged directly, but have had several friendly encounters with curious passers-by over the years. At this site I would have thought you could have taken off and got to an inaudible height without him even noticing - 15 seconds max. Any luck retrieving your files or establishing why/how they were wiped?

So inviting. A vertical frame that included the sun and its reflection might have been good too, assuming the sun wasn't too high in the sky.

Eye popping golden yellows. Ripper impact.

A fine collection that looks to be fairly old and beautifully crafted.I like the inclusion of the reflected peepers. Liz and I went to a concert featuring similar big drums, a spectacularly loud event performed by a group visiting from Japan. Thumping, pulsing rhythms ... and L went to sleep!
