Fabulous b&w. Having the light concentrated on the tarmac and planes, between the darker foreground and the dramatic sky (like the cloud motion) really draws me in. Several very nice sparklies too.

Cool experiments! Now I wonder if I could find a place with orange street lights and use some blue gel to backlight something with a flash...

Nice result from those experiments - and nice pose ) I bought some gel for my flash(es), but have hardly used them - since I hardly use flash I should though (for both, really) since it can make a world of difference. Making flash shots look good takes a bit of practice, though, especially when hand-holding the flash. Two of mine have tilt/swivel heads, making life somewhat easier, but...
