Rod is right - he always is. The image clarity really is impressive. But I personally prefer this composition (contradicting myself, which is satisfyingly easy)

The photo doesn't show up itself on PF...so it was a pleasure to see it here, lovely light and you've reaped the rewards of pointing this extra-ordinary lens into the sun. Don't like the quote, I live with an existentialist and it can be bloody irritating in a loving way....I'm more of a planner....

Loving the image clarity you're getting with this lens in circumstances like these. I see similarities with my SuperTak 28. FWIW my preference of this group is number 14 (for composition).

What an immense rock with awesome colour/patterns. Plus a bonus moon above. Last week-end, I tried to take a photo of an object a few feet from me and the moon behind, hopefully in focus, but failed miserably. Your moon is pretty good!!
