A very co-operative lad. Liking your focus placement. Wide open?

There's that doggy eye again but then, as Savoche notes, Abi and phone demand attention on the other side of the frame. Hannah's obvious affection for the dogs comes through strongly too. Great family shot.

I'm a bit perplexed by Hannah's pose - perhaps it's the proximity of that huge jar of water, or maybe the presence of photographer Dad again

What Simon said The face of the dog and the phone make two focus points to draw attention across the frame.

Great photo! We all enjoyed here at Chez Simon. What great expressions you've captured. The light/exposure is excellent.
I think you're starting to play to this lens's strengths with your photo here and on the ones on the Single In Challenge. More muted "autumnal" colours; softer, wider angle but more intimate scenes that don't test the resolving power or the edges too much. Strong natural contrasts, like you have here with the well defined face of the dog, and the light from the mobile phone, for example.
The Takumar 24 is the id to the DA15's ego!

Cool how you framed this, it looks like the trees are growing out of the bush.

Stake in the ground shot. Resolution is there and I cannot discern any CA.

well maybe it will be great after you find it's strengths. looks quite good to me. i was surprised of my A 24/2.8 on FF, not so much on APS-C. need to stop down...

Seems harp enough all over and no signs of colour fringing against the sky. I'll be interested to see how you progress with this baby and I guess Simon will be watching too
