Always intriguing how dramatic landscapes can be diminished when shrunk by scaling in super wide views. Looking at this presentation, a casual observer would have little if any idea of what lies so near. Makes it easy to admire those who explored and discovered these sorts of things, especially in such harsh environments.

Great desert colours again. A pity so much has been stripped from theca but what remains seems to be holding up well. The line of telegraph poles could have been lifted from many similar landscape scenes in Oz.
