The chrome's holding up well in the harsh conditions; you'll be able to reflect on this for years to come.

Hard call. I like being closer as in this one, but I like the slightly stretched character of the previous one, especially the sky.

Still fascinates. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought you'd found a huge cauliflower! I think I'd have run out of cards if I'd accompanied you on this trip.

Even more stark arid environment. Extraordinary. Interesting how the colours are dominated by browns here - less iron or a chemically different form of iron, and or a lot of dissolved organic matter bonded to the iron I guess. This pic's my fave - no mistaking the petrified trees.
