I'm missing the back story here, but it's a great shot. Closeness, pov and inclusion of inferred killer wheels all work for me.

I detect a sort of misty haze to this, whether intentional or not, I think it goes well with the subjects.

Very elegant when they're submerged fully. The lovely body colour and pattern stands out where there are no reflections.

What a wonderful shot! Great catch!

That's a great fishy shot. The slight curving of the rails make them "softer" than what you get with the DA15, but still a nice contrast to the rugged rock, both in texture and brightness.

Interesting conversion, looks almost IR with that dark sky. The clean, structured lines of the stairs and rails really stand out against the rugged cliff face and puffy clouds.

Poor thing. Well captured, though. Low angle works well (again), and going close gives a good sense of depth, even with i tiny sensor.

1 sec with a phone cam - don't think I'd be able to pull that off with my not-so-good Sony thingie (bloody thing is supposed to be waterproof, yet falls apart - again). That guy to the right makes the place look even more deserted.

Makes me smile. I like the composition with the big and inviting space in front. Getting (almost) down to eye level also works well.

Great resolution and sharpness test. Did your friends also have the Loudon Wainright Dead Skunk song?
