Pretty good in the circumstances. Love that you captured it on the bird of paradise. The serendipity blue is a nifty touch too.

Nice capture. The quick opportunity shots are tough to nail because you don't have time to set the camera up for them. You grab, shoot and pray. Sometimes it works, sometimes not so much but you got a shot here even if it's not perfect.

Your invitation not to comment was just too tempting. So what should I say....um...aerial spraying, GM foods, chem-trails...a conspiratorial feast, but killing bees too. not clever. I don't know what processing you're using here but I've recently discovered bleaching filters as a fun way of taking out cliché colours.

This is lovely. The reasons are stated above, but let me add that the mood of the shot is what grabs me. It has an intensely lethargic quality - I just want to lay down in a lawn chair and watch the sun fade while I finish a beer.
