Interesting shot. All that plastic and metal technology in there, yet there still seems to be some wood!

Strikes a somewhat melancholy chord for me without any particular reason for doing so, and I'm quite comfortable with that. Please post any revision you come up with though.

It would probably benefit from a bit time on the sliders, but quite acceptable as is.

I love the starburst sun on the horizon and the thin line of silhouettted trees. It works pretty well for me.

Oh st! If it's any comfort I put my first iPhone through a complete wash/rinse/spin cycle after failing to check my pockets. Impressed that you got two pix out of it though.

Too harsh on yourself. The strident backlight and the brown vegetation oozes Summer heat and dryness.
