This is cool! I'm not sure editing is the answer...go back and retake with the wonderful bokeh'd flower a bit closer (to the right) to the in-focus flower...or just another one with that bokeh again. Very impressive rendering indeed by this lens

Ha! Last time I tried to leave a comment here I was banned and felt left out...something to do with overflows. No need to respond! This is cool, and great processing/bw. For some reason it reminds me of a Victorian lace-up bodice. I especially like the two "wings" either side, butterfly style.

without the source I would have a hard time saying what I was looking at. The effect is really cool though!

Well thanks Todd, I'm flattered. I rather like your finished hibi product (gotta be one of the world's best blooms). I understand the combining of images but I'm lost as to how you get the "kaleidiscope" effect - is this software filter or some physical smoke and mirrors thingy?

Oh what wonderful colors in here. Surprised you spotted and then captured the ( little?) fella!

Nice framing and bright colors, though! ... I don't think the A lens tells you what focal length you're at, does it?? Nice job processing. I think you made it good.

Nicely done for a quick opportunity - interesting to see the sense of scale of the bird.
