@Sandy... haha yes.. we already had an encounter before this too... i had selected some pieces with one of the tongs from the tray then left it on the sushi tray (not thinking about it)... The chef took the tong moments later and slammed it down back on the tong tray where it belongs (the little plates in front of the sushi plates as seen here)... I took this to indicate his displeasure of people doing all the time what I had just done... So then a few moments later after selecting another couple pieces, I returned the favor and slammed the tong down on the little tong plate for him and gave him a pleasant grin... He seemed genuinely amused...
