No explanatory note? We have lots of dead, blue painted trees in Oz, usually in rural areas, but all as part of a movement to generate greater awareness of depression. Each tree generally commemorates someone who has lost their life to that disease. Or is the one shown here a shade artefact, or perhaps you painted it blue in post?
