Yep, colour ftw, maybe with saturation about halfway between this and 4006rg. I also prefer this composition - comfortable losing a bit on the left, but I think the lighter vertical column adds nicely.
... as I now also witness in version 4005rg2!

Great lines built into a strong composition. The walker is oblivious to his surrounds but is a valuable addition.

I note the foreground wheel shadows, the light on the spokes, and the line of partly silhouetted palm crowns, but it's the whole picture that appeals to me - a glimpse into American society. Nice too how the cyclist has been given plenty of frame space to ride into.

Interesting how much the GR can squeeze into a frame to convey strong depth. B&W works well here with the contrasty shapes and finishes.

Nice composition, but I think a bit more contrast might lift things, and I can't help think that colour might be even nicer.
