Orchids make sense, but the big fig doesn't look too well. Is that just a relic of Winter, or has it hosted a flying fox/fruit bat colony?

The cacti are obviously thriving. The foreground one with the long arms is amazing. Interesting thatthey're restricted to arid climatic zones despite doing so well in much moister regimes.

Person-eating plants spring to mind, with one reaching out to its neighbour suggesting a joint attack on the photographer beneath A fascinating image.

Massive! In form it's similar to the Burrawong "palms" that characterise the understory of "my" South Coast forest, but they're tiny compared to this monster. B&W ftw.

Depth comes across well to me. Very engaging use of 7.5mm
Bummer. I'm guessing from the disturbed water surface that the eagle has just caught (or missed) a fish. A shame you didn't have longer glass but that's often the way.
Lovely colours again, throughout this set. The lens seems to handle high contrast margins pretty well.

Nah, not boring. These are Rhizophera - typical mangrove of the tropics. Can't remember the last time I saw some of these in real life.

Ripper birdie detail with a very obliging pose. Beaut.isolation too.

Palms are hard to beat for dense shows I reckon. More natural colours to enjoy.
