A noticeable colour balance shift or is it just a magenta boost? Beautiful waterfall - reminiscent of Iceland on a smaller scale.

Flipped between these two quite a few times. Both appeal, but this one eventually won my preference vote. I prefer a shorter exposure time for these sorts of shots so that the flow pattern detail comes out more clearly but that's just me. What may interest you more is that this scene has excellent stereo imaging potential. Even with the obvious differences between the two frames I can easily get the waterfall standing out from its surroundings in 3D using the cross-view method.

No mistaking the generator of those diffraction spikes. I'm reassured to note the blob of flare lower left - I noticed that my copy did this on my very first night outing; there were so many small flare spots from the street lights I chucked the pictures out. Hard to avoid.

Really like those dark, contorted, moss covered branches. I enjoy being fully immersed in those greens, so I'd crop out as much of the sky as possible without sacrificing any of the twisted branches (may not be possible).

Beautiful; just pipped by next door >> imho for the log orientation.

The greens look extremely healthy but not over the top - just a lush Wet Forest scene. I like this one best for the orientation of the big log. No 4-leaf clovers
IIRC this was the DA15 destined for Abigail - has it made its way "home" or is she using it? Very fine IQ.

Found kitty; dwarfed by the thriving jungle!
P.S. I'll be a bit patchy with comments the next few days while I'm in Qld.

Very cool. It struck me there's lots of potential for a) a stitch panorama from this point and b) some great stereo pairs with the multitude of different shapes at different distances .... but not on a drive by

Good use of the railway lines again and I like the tree/lawn as a counter to the industrial scene.
