Heaps of cool old stuff here, but I keep being drawn to the blind horse and wondering why it hasn't got an eye. I'd be tempted to back with a marking pen ...

Revisited in light of your response. I appreciate where you're coming from, and I'd share that interest in a different setting, but this is so striking with the flaming red on blue, I reckon it's calling out for a greater dof to maximise the number of flowers in focus, so it can scream its virtues from the hilltops. Of course you're the artist, so I'll now retreat to my burrow lol.

Best of today's show! Ripper, as some say!

Stunning reds - should have put my sunnies on. Wondering if focus is just a tad off, although my eyes are playing up a bit at times these days.

I've flicked between these two a few times now and have finally stayed here. The out of plumb orientation of the other comes across very well but ultimately succumbed to the conventional.

Looks to be a very healthy recovery; he's almost flaunting his form! I like the "picture" windows too.

Love the ghostly greenery. Fine enough to be easily moved by a breeze as well as leave quite delicate tracery in only 1 sec.

I don't recognise him (Bacchus?) but he seems a bit distracted by the blue patch to his left

I do like the off plumb orientation of the shelving here, but P has a stronger presence in the other shot.

Fabulous; whatever darkness was identified seems not to be an issue on my screen. Mischievous pose and ripper capture. I find 1600 delivers quite acceptable images indoors if the histogram isn't too far to the left. Prefer 800 as a working max but Sony, Fuji and Pentax sensors all do well at 1600.
