Quite a transformation from the original. Maybe a touch warm, particularly the sky, but still a very impressive image. Picked the lens straight away, and by chance, my copy has already delivered tomorrow's picture

That must have been painstaking work removing the plane trail, and tbh they don't bother me. I like the reduced contrast but the best sky colour imho is the blue one in the single exposure version.

Yeah, there are always egofreaks who have no idea of constructive criticism, plus those who actually mean well but often come across the wrong way because of poor word choice/phrasing (I'm sure I've been guilty of the latter. Would very much like to have seen the critique you refer to. FWIW the engagement between these two is priceless and they are totally oblivious of your presence. I only have two suggestions. Maybe the darks could be lifted a tad for a bit more detail, plus a crop to eliminate the two blokes on the far left. Very judicious ie gentle application of a blur filter/vignette might lift the main couple even more, but I wouldn't want to lose too much of the background setting.

Bloody hell, that's a bit rough. Nice digs (but not for me thanks) but lousy attitude.

Sounds crazy doesn't it - 5K for a house, but if you apply 70 years of inflation ... Still in good condition, and even has a 21st century garage door!
