Appreciating the closer view and the opportunity to examine body details but my vote goes next door where different behaviours are on display within the one scene.

This is my fave. It conveys so much of the character of these birds, it's close enough for good detail, it includes the reflections and ripples, plus some shadows.

No CA here and you'd be hard-pressed to get better eye focus. Very nice.

A touch of colour abberation around the left bird's leg, but more generally you're getting lots of very good fine detail with this lens eg bird and branch on right. Are you sharpening much?

Hard to ignore this. Lovely atmosphere and it looks like someone got a bit of rain at least.

Looks funny as thumbnails side by side, but thinking further - I reckon you could make a very nice "split triptych" for a wall display - three separate framed segments side by side.

Beautiful markings and you even caught the fork in the extended tongue. Do you know what sort? I hope it escaped to a safe place.

OK it's a rattlesnake - just saw the tail next door and googled it.
