The uwa will certainly convey a different perception of the "cactus patch" and that will be interesting to see, but I'm enjoying these closer views with their visual drama. Bear in mind too that my starting point for viewing your stream is usually the last (as seen by me) image from the day before, so this image with caption on stitching and uwa is the end one for today's string.

Yeah, thanks to your aerials and captions, these all fit together well in my geographer's mind. Plenty of quartz as noted, and a lot of very fine red/green birefringence on the foreground branches, spikes and grasses. Not intrusive, just present. Nice comp and tones.

Interesting how the cooler tones have prevailed less than an hour later than next door.
