You still managed strong juxtaposition of light and shade; there's a yellow/blue mix and those pre-packaged apartment blocks are quite imposing

This one for me too. The left sided frame adds impact to what is already great geometry of light cascading down. Love your cat!

Hard call between these two. I like M's greater presence in the other shot, but in this one she's looking straight at the camera. I prefer the greater contrast in the background of this one too. I also have visions of you patrolling the house throughout the day, just to see what shadow/light plays have fleetingly revealed themselves.

Agree with your choice, primarily because of the shadow abstraction and how that's countered by the big sharply focussed leaves. Funny how often the first frame taken turns out "best".
