Thats quite an ugly cactus! Suitably armed though.

Very nice merge into the darker background - letting the cactus stand out like a prickly lighthouse.

I'd go with this one, such atmosphere from the light to lift the simple but very effective scene.

So very different to next door, almost impossible to compare - so subjective. But I prefer this one for the more dramatic mix of light and shadows, the subtle secondary highlights and the green flare spot.

No idea what this is, but it's interesting how the lions vary in appearance/tone as their position wrt the sun changes.

Lovely reflections. And I also like what seems to be a fish swirl on the right.

Those reflections are mesmerizing!
