I take it this is the opposite view to the one with the kids the other day. Wonder if you'd get star trail reflections at night .....

like some Fallout landscape

The tangle works well, clear and defined but without being overpowering and I do like the light IR like grass.

An absolute mongrel to try and walk through but arid zone vege. has a charm of its own. What a contrast to the English woods that graemes and minimonster share. Love the uncomfortable textures, the brittleness and the diverse pastel colours. Birdy's a bonus. Looks snaky too .....

Marvellous tangle of fine branches and the ground cover certainly has that IR feel. Big like.

No hike at all. Nice day camping spot and nice for these fly fishermen guys I've met.

Also the central figure there with crossed legs is no fan of the chipmunks.

I believe these are standard sized chipmunks. I think the men are thrown off by the sudden appearance of female (brief visitor) and loaded with much nicotine.

They seem very small (bear in mind I have no experience of squirrels) - are these juveniles? Are they protected? Why is no-one looking particularly happy?
