I like being up closer to the rocks in the other two images, but taking everything into account, this is my fave. There's still enough rugged character in the outcrops; I like having the distant city included and there's more of that fab. sky. You'll have to dust off the polarising filters

The excitement continues! Thank you for your detailed commentary. I hadn't heard of the Arizona Monsoon before but your National Weather Service website explains it all very well. I even guessed right about the moisture sources. So each July we can expect dramatic lightning shots from you as well as daytime cloud LEs like this beauty.
